Our simple food philosophy is to use fresh, seasonal produce from local sources, including salads and edible flowers from our kitchen garden, so that our food looks as wonderful as it tastes. As you browse through our menu, bear in mind that:

  • Many of the meats are supplied by local Welsh farmers
  • Much of the fish is freshly caught by Pembrokeshire and Gower fishermen
  • Most of the herbs and salads used to create the subtle flavourings that get your taste buds tingling are grown in Jabajak's gardens.
  • Quality dairy products such as Preseli cheese and farmhouse ice creams are local, ensuring you experience truly Welsh flavours when you dine.

Jabajak restaurant strives to acheive the highest standards of food hygiene. Our high quality food is prepared and cooked in a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen. All accompanying sauces are cooked to order and if you have specific dietary requirements or allergies, these can easily be catered for.

We can cater for pre-orders of for example lobster, bass, crab or any other dish you may wish for a special occasion. We also help by providing set menus for larger groups. Just call us to discuss or to find out about any specials we might be offering...

Starters

local Welsh cheese

Chef’s creamy sweet pea soup

melon and fig cocktail
drizzled with a sweet rose syrup 

local pont gar caws ( cheese ) bruschetta
marinated in basil, baked & served with leaves
and a gooseberry & elderflower chutney
                                         
roll mop herrings
pickled with a sweet onion and fennel jus

Chef’s ham compote
  blended with fresh tarragon and served with leaves

fresh scallops
served in a creamy prawn sauce and sprinkled with parmesan

 

Diners may order starters as a main meal for an additional cost of 6.50 for accompanying vegetables

Main Courses

Celtic pride steak

Accompanying every dish are fresh seasonal vegetables (often from our own garden) which are fully included in the price.

 -

field mushroom
stuffed with a nutmeg mash
topped with braised lentils and red winel sauce

chicken fillet
stuffed with feta and thyme then oven baked with baby tomatoes and olive oil 

fresh queen scallops
pan fried and served on a bed of spinach and mushroom with toasted sesame 

6oz seared duck fillet
served with apricot and cinnamon sauce

Welsh lamb chump
Slow roasted in sea salt and served with a port citrus and cranberry sauce 

5oz or 10 oz celtic pride fillet steak
served with field mushrooms and vine tomatoes 

cooked as you like it with optional steak sauces braised from your steak pan

  • fresh cream and cracked black pepper
  • fresh cream with mushroom & brandy
  • fresh cream & cashel blue cheese

or

surf n' turf in style
5oz fillet served with red wine sauce and scallops in prawn sauce

Pre-orders available - 48 hours notice e.g fresh lobster thermador, line caught bass etc and any special dietary requirements.

Sunday Lunch Menu

We now offer our a la carte menu on notable Sundays only due to customer demand or for any pre-booked occasion as above.

You can now choose from over 100 wines from our wine shop to drink with your meal and if you like it you can take it home.

Our wine list come from the finest wines in the world including Ben Glaetzers Amon Ra.

If you choose a wine from the shop you pay an additional corkage charge. Discounts are given for cases sold retail.
