“One of life's gifts is that each of us, no matter how tired and downtrodden, finds reasons for thankfulness: for the crops carried in from the fields and the grapes from the vineyard.”
J. Robert Moskin.
Jabajak is the only vineyard in Carmarthenshire, and makes a fabulous backdrop for Welsh country weddings. However, the vines are still a little young for heavy fruit production. It harvested its first small crop in October 2010; an event which was recorded in several Welsh newspapers - and radio Wales. The British weather has not been kind to our vines this year, but we hope 2012's harvest (from maturer vines) will produce enough grapes for our first press of 100% Welsh wine. In additon, we continue to grow a range of fresh vegetables, edible flowers and herbs for consumption in the restaurant.

We take food seriously here, but just for now, we will leave you with a comment from our bears...(okay, we don't have bears!)
"Now I remember, you drink red wine with hunters and white wine with fishermen."
