Jabajak Country Retreat and Restaurant is a small luxury hotel with fine dining restaurant and lounge bar situated in the tranquil vineyard & countryside of Llanboidy in Carmarthenshire, West Wales UK. Just minutes from the main A40 and close to the Cardiganshire and Pembrokeshire boarders, Jabajak is an ideal venue for a party or wedding reception. Jabajak also boasts its own conference room.
Over 150 years old,
this Welsh farmhouse with a carriage house, stable, grain store and milking
parlour used to be a busy working farm which many local farmers used as
a stop off to shoe their cattle on the way to London. After it fell into
rack and ruin, your hosts Julian and Amanda Stuart-Robson spent years
painstakingly renovating and transforming this building into Jabajak's.
Then there's the newly planted Vineyard that surrounds the property which
consists of 5 varietals between the 2000 vines planted which you can walk
around whilst watching the abundance of wildlife and as we are a licensed
Red Kite feeding station you will be amazed to see them flying overhead
and swooping down to eat.

Jabajak's Small, Yet Perfectly Formed, Luxury Hotel Accommodation
Some of the original
farmhouse family dwellings have been converted into small luxury
hotel accommodation. The tasteful and sumptuous en suite twin or double
rooms make an ideal base to explore the tourist
attractions in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, and Cardiganshire.
The magnificently decorated and furnished Honeymoon Suite is perfect for
a romantic holiday.

Fine Dining Restaurant and Lounge Bar
The
carriage house, stable, grain store, and milking parlour have been expertly
renovated and lavishly furnished to provide you with a unique fine
dining restaurant. You can unwind in the lounge bar and try some of
the fine wines and real Welsh Ales
on offer, before heading to your table in The Bistro or The Grain Store
Restaurant. For privacy you can reserve the truly romantic restaurant
setting known as The Nook which is set in the eaves of the restaurant.
You can treat your taste buds to any of the dishes available on the a la carte menu, which are all cooked on the premises using fresh, seasonal, local produce, wherever possible. As Jabajak was awarded the Silver Award for food hygiene in 2005 & 2006, you can be certain that you will be served dishes of exceptional quality and taste.
Jabajak is an ideal venue for a private function such as a birthday party. You can book the entire Grain Store Restaurant upstairs to seat up to 80 people or the private Banqueting Suite with its own decked garden area that seats up to 50.

If you need to hold
a business meeting, a conference, or a corporate event, Jabajak has its
own conference room that can
seat up to 50 delegates with ease. This conference and meeting room facility
has a comfortable coffee lounge and dining hall, so you can treat attendees
to refreshments or catering lovingly crafted by Jabajak's chef. When you
need more space Jabajak will erect suitably sized marquees in its seven
acres of landscaped grounds.

You will be given exclusivity of the whole of Jabajak for the day, including the grounds and the guest accommodation.
